We are a rural public school with 210 pupils distributed into two stages: - Infant and Primay.Teacher´s staff is 17 with a principal, a head teacher and a secretary. The main foreign language studied in our school is English, other subjects are: Spanish literature, Maths and Science, Geography and History, ITC and Afternoon clubs.
In our school there's a large number of immigrants students or students with problems like dyslexia or autism that are at risk of exclusion.
We also have an important number of foreign students from different backgrounds, with a majority of Romanian students and Moroccans, although we also have other nationalities: Chinese, Dominicans, etc. This is the reason because We focus our attention on special needs and inmigrant students due to the high number of both in our school.
We have carried out two Comenius projects in 2010 and 2013 with total success. The theme of both projects deals with solidarity and integration, we have been developing for 10 years the celebration of a solidary market in order to help those who need it most; and for 44 years we have celebrated our acquaintance, at the Autonomous Community level, "Guerrero Malagon" painting contest that encourages the participation of students with special educational needs.
